Victoria Park Tennis club is a friendly, social club which provides affordable community tennis. The club has two hard tennis courts which are available all year round. The courts are located close to the Somerset Terrace entrance of Victoria Park. VPTC is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers.
There are other tennis clubs in Bristol and there are also some free/bookable courts in the city. Check (www.bristol.gov.uk/museums-parks-sports-culture/tennis-in-bristol) for further information.
You must read and keep up-to-date with the following LTA guidance before using the courts (www.lta.org.uk/about-us/tennis-news/news-and-opinion/general-news/2020/march/coronavirus-covid-19)
The VPTC membership year normally runs April to March with an annual fee for unlimited tennis in that year.
Unfortunately due to unprecedented demand for the courts this year we have had to cap our membership. However please contact us at email@example.com if you would like to be put on a waiting list. If demand for the courts reduces we will then be in touch.
Court bookings are now online here.
Unfortunately, VPTC is not able to support coaching at the Victoria Park courts. VPTC does not have an affiliated coach
VPTC will follow government and LTA guidelines regarding Covid 19 (www.lta.org.uk/about-us/tennis-news/news-and-opinion/general-news/2020/march/coronavirus-covid-19) with the longer term aim of returning to these club times:
- Sunday – 11:30am – 2.00pm
- Tuesday – From: Easter 5pm, October from 4pm, November & February from 3pm and Dec & Jan from 2pm
Club tennis is open to members of all abilities and is a great way to meet other members and play friendly matches.
